Growing up on the south coast of St. Elizabeth — one of the most breathtaking stretches of the Caribbean — I was surrounded by colour, warmth, and a culture that dresses with joy. The women I grew up watching didn't follow trends. They set them. That spirit never left me.

The Story Behind the Brand

I'm Ackeilia, founder and creative director of Trendzy. I've been designing professionally since 2016, but my love for fashion started long before that — it was a childhood dream I refused to let go of.

That dream took me all the way to Mission Catwalk Season 7, where I competed as a finalist representing Jamaica on an international stage. Standing there, I knew: this wasn't just a passion. It was my purpose.

Trendzy by Ackeilia is the brand I always envisioned — one that carries the soul of the Caribbean into the world of luxury fashion. Vibrant. Intentional. Unapologetically island.
